Fr Sameer Advani is Canadian priest
ordained in 2015, with degrees in mathematics, philosophy, and theology. He works
in the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum in Rome as Director of the Christianity
and Culture Program, as Professor of Phenomenology and Philosophy of Religion,
and -in collaboration with the Vatican's Ratzinger Foundation - as academic
coordinator of the Postgraduate Studies in Joseph Ratzinger Program. He also
works with the Vatican's Pontifical Council for Culture and is the director of
the Vatican's cricket team which aims to bring the message of Christ to
non-Christian countries through sport. He has presented the theme of God as
Eros and Agape to hundreds of faithful in Canada, Italy and Chile in the form
of spiritual retreats, university courses, academic conferences and popular
talks.
