Luke 11:27-28
While Jesus was saying this, a woman in the crowd raised her voice and said to him, ‘Blessed is the womb that bore you and the breasts that nursed you!’ But he said, ‘Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it!’
Reflection
• The woman is thinking of the natural relationship between a mother and a son. But Jesus elevates it from humanity to divinity. Can I sense Jesus inviting me to transcend my relationship from humanity to divinity?
• Have I heard the word of God? If yes, how do I obey it?
